I am travelling cozumel, mexico on 21st, June. Is the cozumel beach is affected from oil spill?

not yet. the water currents rotate clockwise, mostly, from the well site. wg0z

Warm ocean currents pass by Cancun and do loop before Alabama. Those same currents will take the Oil through the Florida Keys and then North to Canada. From there the current heads.
toward Europe.
The fact is, the world would come to an end before the “Slick” reaches Cancun.
There are loop current “Rings or Eddys” that drift and does not follow the current and these may reach Mexico`s gulf. Veracruz Texas and othere parts of the inner Gulf
