However, it seems like it is increasingly difficult to find vacation spots that offer amenities or even allow guests with pets. Can anyone recommend a vacation destination in the continental U.S. that is very pet-friendly and why? And I am going to buy a big SUV soon, what kind would you recommend?

The problem is the best possible deal that i am getting is at a Resort that i previously worked at and i told him about it. He has made the reservation and it has been confirmed. what i am worried about is since it is a time share resort they will not take it kindly that one of their bookings was wasted on a person that worked there and they might be critical and harsh to us and make fun of me since the booking is made under his name they will assume that i was chicken to make it on my own and thus this will spoil my vacation. I need tips on how to deal with this situation. Like while checking in how to i avoid the people at the reception(as they know me)???? i really want this vacation to be a success as it is the first time this guy is travelling to this place
