Jeni asked: A friend of mine will be on vacation for a few days but has just been diagnosed with being diabetic, with resulting kidney problems. As this is a new diagnosis, she has not been able to see a dietician with regards to what she can now eat and cannot eat. Any suggestions as to what she can perhaps take with her in a cooler and microwave while on the road as obviously fast food and restaurants are out of the question.

brandon asked: This co-worker of mine is not new to the job and keeps calling home whenever I’m on vacation requesting to solve problems. She does not ask questions when I’m in the office. If I don’t answer her when on vacation, she would complain to my boss saying that I don’t help her. My boss supports her. I need to protect myself and hence need to know if there is any HR policy which says that you are not obliged for teamwork when on vacation. Also, I do know that I need not pick up the phone when she calls.

necroofchaos asked: Valet service is about 20- 30 bucks/day, what a rip off. Does anyone know of a hotel that doesn’t do that? I could use some advice. Once we get there,we will use local transportation. Our vehicle will sit until we head home. Anybody from the Big Easy got any ideas?
